National Severe Weather Preparedness Week

March 3 – 9, 2013 is National Severe Weather Preparedness Week. In times of disaster, The Salvation Army is there to provide food, shelter, spiritual care, assist with clean-up and so much more.

Indiana15This week, we highlight resources provided by Ready.gov that will help you prepare for disasters that can impact your area. They encourage you to:

  • BE PREPARED | Find out what to do before, during and after an emergency.
  • MAKE A PLAN | Prepare, plan and stay informed of emergencies.
  • BUILD A KIT | Build a Disaster Supplies Kit.
  • GET INVOLVED | Find opportunities to support community preparedness.
