Local and national celebrities volunteered their time to spread holiday cheer in support of The Salvation Army from November 26 – December 23. A total of 14 celebrities slipped on red aprons and rang bells for hours around metro Atlanta.
The following local celebrities took part in The Salvation Army 2010 Red Kettle tradition:

- Ed Clark and Atlanta Motor Speedway Staff
- Georgia State University Football Players
- Georgia Tech Cheerleaders & Buzz(Mascot)
- Georgia Tech Women’s Basketball Team
- Jim Donnan
- Trevor/Lucky Dog
Monies donated to The Salvation Army Kettles directly benefit individuals in need. From opportunities for underprivileged children to homelessness to utility and food assistance, The Salvation Army has a service that meets these needs daily.
Thanks to the generous donations of shoppers and passerby’. This is a continual need that must be met in order to continue providing these essential services year-round to those who need it.
