We continue our commemoration of African-American History Month with tributes to African-Americans who have played significant roles in The Salvation Army’s history.

This week, we shine our spotlight on The Salvation Army Captain Margaret Davis.

Commissioned a Salvation Army Officer in 1998, Captain Davis holds a B.M. (Music), from Catholic University of America and serves as the Associate Director of Personnel & Music Coordinator at The Salvation Army School For Officer Training in Suffern, NY.

Captain Davis is a gifted musician and soloist who has traveled the world singing songs of praise on behalf of The Salvation Army, and has been featured on a number of holiday and praise albums.
