Provide Hope for Christmas by Adopting an Angel

It can be very upsetting for families facing job losses, foreclosures and homelessness. Many families are struggling to pay for heat and lights, or getting their groceries from The Salvation Army food pantries.

It has to be difficult to look your children in the eyes and inform them that they will not have Christmas gifts this year.

Are you wondering how you can help?  Adopt an Angel now through December 10th at one of seven local Simon Mall locations.

This year marks the 32nd year of The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program in an effort to ease the pain, and provide hope for the holidays, for less fortunate children.

The Angel Tree program was created by the Salvation Army in 1979. Since its inception, donors have had the opportunity to become personally involved with helping needy children, their families and senior citizens during Christmas time.

Now through December 10th, metro Atlanta shoppers can visit the following Simon Mall locations Monday – Saturday, 11am – 8pm to adopt an angel and provide new toys, clothing and other gift items for more than 10,000 less fortunate children.

Lenox Square
Phipps Plaza
Gwinnett Place
Northlake Mall
Town Center at Cobb
Mall of Georgia
Discover Mills

To adopt an angel, visit one of the locations listed above and choose from thousands of angel tree tags and shop based upon the needs and wishes listed.  You don’t pay up front for the angel, it’s free to take, we just ask that you purchase 3-5 new items for your angel and return it back to the mall location in which the actual tag was taken.

Remember, it’s not just the purchase of gifts that you are providing but rather, hope to those in need.
