Celebrating People in Action: Honoring Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Volunteers

ImageAs we wrap up National Volunteer Week, we want to recognize the volunteers from The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center Atlanta. Since January 2012, these volunteers have given 1,693 hours of time to help meet the needs of individuals in the Atlanta community. The total gift in kind would be equivalent to $36,162.48.

These volunteers have participated in a variety of programs like starting computer classes for seniors and community residents, serving breakfast to residents of the Lakewood senior living facility, providing childcare to parents enrolled in the Adult Literacy courses and assisting with numerous special events.

The Salvation Army is truly humbled and blessed to have faithful volunteers at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. Special thanks to all those that volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to benefit The Salvation Army!
