The Salvation Army in Haiti

DID YOU KNOW?

The Salvation Army started working in Haiti during February in 1950!

This month, The Salvation Army held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new disaster warehouse in Haiti. This warehouse will allow The Salvation Army to receive and store needed supplies and better respond to the needs of a country frequently in danger of being hit by hurricanes.

Territorial Commander, Colonel Onal Castor, offers words of hope and encouragement at the warehouse dedication ceremony.

Thank you to all who support The Salvation Army’s worldwide mission to help those in need!
