Disaster Update: The Salvation Army Georgia Division Offers Emotional and Spiritual Care


The Salvation Army’s tornado recovery efforts continue in Oklahoma. The Salvation Army- Georgia Division has deployed three Georgia officers to Oklahoma for 14 days to offer spiritual and emotional care to tornado victims.

Since Sunday, May 19th, The Salvation Army has provided:

  • 33,904 meals
  • 45,874 drinks
  • 34,000 snacks
  • 18 canteens
  • 978 Clean Up and 1,064 comfort (hygiene) kits
  • Prayer with 4,033
