As we honor our veterans today, The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta would like to recognize Col. Eric Welsh, a volunteer at our Red Shield Shelter on Luckie Street.

Welsh, a retired US Army colonel, volunteers with our veterans at the shelter living with PTSD, speaking to varying numbers on men and women each week.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Mark Davis featured Welsh in an article today.
