The Salvation Army of Atlanta Hosts 125 Hours of Prayer

From May 4 – 9, people all across the Metro Atlanta area will join together over the course of 125 hours to seek God and hear His voice. The Salvation Army Metro Atlanta and a number of churches and community organizations will host a week of continual prayer called Atlanta Prays.

Atlanta Prays is an opportunity to step away from the normal routines of daily life and enter into an extended time to experience God and connect with one another through worship, prayer, fasting, and fellowship. The invitation to pray is open to anyone who desires to unite in prayer as a part of the Body of Christ.

The central prayer location will be The Salvation Army Temple Corps at 2090 N Druid Hills Road Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30329. Click here for a complete list of prayer locations and times.

Our Metro Atlanta community is faced with …

  • Being a sex trafficking capital
  • Increasing crime and violence
  • On-going generational poverty
  • A culture often void of acknowledging God
  • Lacking Christian morals and values where our children are being brought up and exposed to

The invitation to pray is free and open to the public. For more information, daily topics and prayer locations visit
